Mission:

It is the mission of the Health & Wellness Committee to promote the physical fitness and emotional wellbeing of Chamber members and their employees through innovative evidenced based approaches.

These include the following calls to action:

  • Foster a work place culture that supports and encourages healthy lifestyles.
  • Foster corporate recognition that community health promotion pays huge dividends.
  • Inspire and empower members to take responsibility for their own health.
  • Increase community awareness that minor changes in lifestyle pay big dividends over time in terms of disease prevention and health promotion.

Committee Goals:

  • Develop and provide corporate health presentations
  • Stage annual or semi-annual educational programs
  • Organize Health & Wellness Mixers
  • Support annual Innovate Conference
  • Cultivate new committee members, either existing Chamber members or new members

Please join us for “Stars Over Dulles,” our annual Awards Luncheon that will take place amidst the stunning holiday backdrop of the Hilton Washington Dulles Airport. Along with holiday cheer and entertainment, we will celebrate the amazing and newsworthy achievements of some of the businesses and organizations in our region.

We are currently accepting nominations in all categories. Nominations can be made through November 14, 2019. Feel free to nominate in multiple categories and multiple individuals/businesses. Click here to make a nomination.

PLEASE NOTE:

Cancellations and refund requests will be honored if notification via email is sent to JP Events & Consulting at events@jpevents.biz till October 15, 2019, 5pm EST. A $75 nonrefundable processing fee will be deducted from individual refunds. A $175 nonrefundable processing fee will be deducted from corporate package refunds. Telephone cancellations will not be accepted.

No refunds will be made for no-shows or cancellations made within 14 days of the event. Registrants may send a substitute with their event ticket if they cannot attend but should contact choag@jpevents.biz to confirm the new registrant’s name and registration information.

JP Events & Consulting reserves the right to substitute speakers if unexpected turn of events happens with scheduled speakers. If for any reason the event is canceled, full registration refunds will be issued within 14 business days after cancellation. JP Events & Consulting assumes no responsibility for non-refundable registrant travel expenses.
