    • Are closed: there will be no meetings or events that day or that evening.
    • Open late: there will be no morning meetings or events, but afternoon and evening meetings or events will continue as scheduled.
    • Close early: there will be no afternoon or evening meetings or events.
    • Cancel evening activities: there will be no evening meetings or events.

    Professional Development

    • Chamber 101 - Breakfast program that presents the many benefits and programs of the chamber to new and prospective members. First Tuesday of each month. There is extensive networking on site so attendees are asked to bring business cards! Complementary breakfast provided by Eggspectation. Online pre-registration is required and limited to the first 40 people.

    • Business Success Series - This monthly interactive workshop helps small businesses with the persistent issues that can plague a business. Each month you will hear from and interact with locally, and nationally, acclaimed speakers on a different topic relating to business. You will get first-hand instruction on everything from business planning to social media to perfecting your website. Each session also comes with a free consultation from the speaker themselves!

    • Innovation Series Luncheons - Networking and luncheon with major speaker addressing topic of interest to businesses.

     Special Events

    • Awards Luncheon - An elegant luncheon honoring businesses that have achieved extraordinary excellence within the community. You will enjoy the entertainment and the networking environment. The Awards Gala Committee was voted the 2013 Committee of the Year.

    • Innovate Conference- Held in the fall, a one day conference welcoming the economic opportunities of change. For more information, visit Innovate's website.

    • Golf Scramble - A delightful day on the links with great camaraderie and a challenging little ball!


    • Mixer –After-hours networking sessions hosted at various chamber members’ offices. 4th Thursday of the month; except in November and December when they are held on the 3rd Thursday of the month. Preregistered: Members $15, Non-Members $25. At the door: Members $20, Non-Members $25.

    • Business, Bagels & More - Dynamic monthly breakfast networking. Second Friday of the month, 7:45 am. Preregistered: Members $15, Non-Members $20; At Door Members $20, Non-Members $25.

    • Dulles Executive Women - Various functions throughout the year staged as women's networking events. Formally known as the Power of 30.

    • Hispanic Business Reception - A multi-cultural celebration, each year with a different Hispanic theme, featuring Latino business leaders, ethnic cuisine and entertainment. This event occurs in the fall.

    • Grand Openings – As they are announced, members are encouraged and welcome to attend.

    • Young Professionals – Networking, mentoring, service outings and more for their monthly meet-ups.

    Community Events

    • Friday Night Live! – Summer series of free concerts on the Herndon Town Green, May through August each Friday night (except the week of Herndon Festival). For more information, visit FNL!'s website.

    • Dished - The event will place our area’s talented executive chefs in competition on the dais, working with ingredients found in their mystery baskets.  Evening includes tastings, music and great food.

    • MyHealthMatters – Anchored by a 5K/1 mile Run/Walk,  this open-air health fair offers healthcare professionals an opportunity to mix with the public while stage entertainments  offer delightful counterpoint.

    • Brewfest --  A collective toast to the breweries of Fairfax County, coupled with music and ethnic cuisine  on  a beautiful fall day.

    • Herndon Christmas Tree Lighting & Sing-Along – A Town tradition taking place on the front lawn of the Old Town Hall on the first Saturday in December.

    All other holidays, whether Federal or not, the Chamber will be open.
