The Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that Ms. Paty Funegra, Founder and CEO of La Cocina and co-founder of Latino Engagement and Achievement Fund (LEAF) will be keynote speaker at the 15th Annual Hispanic Business Reception to be held on Thursday, September 28 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at the Frying Pan Farm Park Visitors Center. Local Hispanic restaurants and the musical talents of Sweet Dreams Band will ensure that you feel and taste the magical flavors of Hispanic community.

Ms. Funegra is founder and CEO of La Cocina VA, an innovative workforce and small business development non-profit. Since 2014 La Cocina has provided vocational job training for the food service and hospitality industries, English language training and job placement for the unemployed, as well as healthy meals to the hungry and underserved populations. She is also co-founder of the Latino Engagement and Achievement Fund (LEAF), dedicated to the promotion of and the investment in the civic engagement, education, economic success, naturalization, health, leadership development, volunteerism, and advocacy of the Latino community in Metro DC.
