The Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce has announced their new incoming President for 2023 as C. Melissa McKenna. McKenna assumes her new duties on January 17, 2023.

McKenna comes from a dynamic sales and management environment with over 20 years of experience leading people and improving processes within organizations. She recently comes from Palantir as an Account Director. She is the current Chair of the Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA) and has called Herndon home since 2002.

“Having called western Fairfax County home since 1983, I am thrilled to come on board in this role with the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce.  The infrastructure, innovation and community that exists here are the perfect formula for growth. I look forward to working with the Chamber, elected leaders, and our growing business community in continuing to realize the full potential that the Dulles Region affords.”

McKenna is welcomed by the new Board of Directors who were voted into Chamber office in December 2022. The 2023 Dulles Chamber Executive Committee and Board of Director are:

Joe Malazo, Chairman; Mike Williams; Vice Chair, Kerrie Wilson, Secretary; Alex Scott, Treasurer; Al Hamdi, Immediate Past Chair; David Hirsch, General Counsel, Doug Guernsey; VP, Commerce; Laura Poindexter, VP, Friday Night Live; Coby Loessberg, Legendary Custom Signs and Graphics; Dorothy Ready, Northern Virginia Science Center Foundation; Triston O’Savio, Blank Rome; Donna Smith, Sandy Spring Bank; Steve Yantko, Sierra Nevada Corporation; Nicole Malone, Dark Horse Nutrition and Martin Gruszka, Office Evolution.

The Chamber is saying goodbye to its former President, John P.
