We hope you’ll join us Friday September 29, 2023, to Drive For Veterans at the magnificent Fred Couples-designed Westfields Golf Club in Clifton, Virginia. This year, for our 21th annual DATA charity golf tournament, The Dulles Area Transportation Association (DATA) has once again partnered with co-sponsor, the Northern Virginia Veterans Association (NOVA Veterans) to both spotlight and help address veteran transportation issues.

The veteran transportation crisis continues to grow, and transportation assistance is the leading request that NOVA Veterans receives. That’s why DATA and NOVA Veterans joined forces in 2021 to build a program that provided elderly and disabled veterans with free taxi rides to healthcare appointments. Before exhausting that federal funding, that program delivered more than 1,500 no-cost healthcare taxi rides to veterans in need. Our work continues through DATA's Veterans Connect volunteer driver program and NOVA Veterans' Transportation and Care Coordination program.

This annual tournament raises funds to qualify DATA for state and federal grants on a wide range of community outreach projects that help our veteran, senior, and disabled residents. A portion of the tournament proceeds will also be given to NOVA Veterans to fund their comprehensive support of our most vulnerable veterans and their families.
