HERNDON, VA (February 26, 2024) – Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care opened its fourth new center this year, to better serve patients who live and work in Fairfax County.

The center in Herndon is conveniently located in the Village Center at Dulles shopping area at 2415 Centreville Road, Suite B6, near Taco Bamba and Giant Food, and less than seven miles from Washington Dulles International Airport. It follows recent openings in South Alexandria, McLean and Falls Church.

Harold Brown, the regional president of Inova-GoHealth, said, “Inova-GoHealth’s rapid growth is a sign of our commitment to expanding access to affordable, on-demand care for people throughout Northern Virginia. Having convenient access to connected healthcare is vital for improving the quality of life for everyone in our community.”

Why connected urgent care matters

Inova-GoHealth treats common health concerns for adults and children six months and older, including COVID-19, flu, fever, asthma, allergies, minor cuts, burns, pink eye, urinary tract infections, fractures, sprains, strains and more. The centers are open 365 days a year, including holidays.

Patients can walk into any Inova-GoHealth center for care or save time by pre-registering online before going to their neighborhood center. The new centers are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., on weekends.

“With Inova-GoHealth centers across Fairfax County, patients can access convenient, high-quality care closer to where they live, work and play,” said Meredith Porter, MD, medical director of Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care. “We are excited to expand access to on-demand healthcare for the community and seamlessly connect patients to Inova’s robust network.”

Inova-GoHealth centers deliver quality on-demand care by Inova providers at convenient locations throughout Northern Virginia. When a patient requires further care, Inova-GoHealth is a direct connection to Inova’s robust network of care, which regularly earns national recognition for excellence in quality and safety, research and innovation.

With the opening of the new locations, Inova-GoHealth now has 17 locations across Northern Virginia joining a network of seven relaunched centers in Centreville, Chantilly, Arlington, Reston, Springfield, two in Vienna, and recent new openings in Leesburg, Lorton, Ashburn, Lake Ridge, Falls Church and Fairfax. Additional locations are expected to open early next year in Alexandria and Falls Church.

An accessible and comfortable healthcare environment

Inova-GoHealth’s new centers are conveniently located and feature a state-of-the-art design. The wood accents, curved surfaces and customer-friendly technology foster a comfortable patient experience. The centers’ warm color palette and lighting help ensure patients feel a sense of ease and healing at every stage of their visit.

GoHealth Urgent Care was the first healthcare provider to win the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) U.S. Design and Development Award.
