I chose this quote for today because it speaks about the importance of taking action. Throughout your life you will be faced with new unfamiliar circumstances that require you to step out of your comfort zone to achieve your goals. There is risk involved and you will need to have the courage and confidence to move forward despite that risk. Confidence is born from taking action and demonstrating to yourself that the risk can be overcome with action. Through each achievement you can build a confidence bank. It starts with tackling small problems and failing your way to success. It is strengthened by practice and effort. Noone is born great but each of us has been blessed with greatness within us. Attaining greatness requires both a positive mindset and a willingness to work to take advantage of the abilities that we have been given. So while confidence cannot be wished into existence, it can be gained through taking uncomfortable action, failing, and getting back off the mat again and again.
