The Committee for Dulles' (CFD) annual 5k/10k run

The Committee for Dulles' (CFD) annual 5k/10k run is scheduled for the morning of Saturday, December 4.  “Jingle on the Runway” starts and ends at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center, with participants running on one of the Dulles Airport runways.

The majority of the proceeds from the run benefit Special Olympics Virginia.  A smaller portion of the proceeds to CFD's Community Outreach Committee (CFDCO).  100% of those proceeds,  along with all other funds raised by CFDCO are returned to the Dulles area community - primarily in the form of scholarships for graduating high school seniors. 

We need volunteers to help with water stations, bag drops, and handing out t-shirts and medals on the morning of the race.  If you are interested in  and able to help out, please contact Carol Welti [email protected] or Holly Williamson [email protected].
