Due the to coronavirus, The OSS Society cannot host its William J. Donovan Award® Dinner in October. In its place, we're holding a month-long series of events each Thursday in October to commemorate the OSS' 75-year legacy.

Join leading figures from the Intelligence and Special Operations Communities - Sec. Robert Gates, The Hon. Ellen McCarthy, Mike Morell, Adm. William McRaven, Adm. Eric Olson, Sec. Leon Panetta, and Gen. David Petraeus - to discuss critical national security issues with Dr. Mike Vickers. We're calling it an "Oh So Social" Conversation Series. (During World War II, so many OSS personnel were listed in the Social Register it was said the initials "O.S.S." really stood for "Oh So Social.")

The series kicks off on October 1st with a discussion about a third special operations revolution with three retired Special Forces colonels: David Maxwell, Mark Mitchell, and Keith Nightingale. Each event will include a unique OSS-related libation created by noted author and cocktail historian Philip Greene. You can register for the entire series by clicking here.

Please help The OSS Society continue its mission of honoring OSS, its successor organizations, and educating the American public about the importance of strategic intelligence and special operations to the preservation of freedom by making a tax-deductible donation, too. The spearhead points the way forward.
