Herndon, VA (June 15, 2020) – The lobby of the Herndon Municipal Center (HMC), closed since March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will reopen to the public on Wednesday, June 17, at 8am.

 

All visitors to the HMC will be required to wear masks, which will be provided if necessary.  Visitors may enter and exit the HMC lobby via doors on Lynn Street; the entrance doors from the Town Green and the garage will remain closed to the public. The Town Clerk’s office and second floor of the HMC will also remain closed to the public.

 

Applications for zoning appropriate permits, development plans and other materials for which Community Development department review is required will continue to be drop-off only. Bins for these materials will be placed just inside the HMC lobby, near the exit doors, and will be clearly marked.

 

The HMC is located at 777 Lynn Street and is open 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.
